What is clay? This step removes surface contaminants (brake dust, industrial fallout). These are brown or darker spots that do not wash off and feel rough to the touch. This step is a must before buffing. Without this step, the contaminants would be ground into the paint, causing scratches, swirls and damage to the paint.
Is it safe to get my car machine buffed? Machine buffing is the only way to remove surface scratches, oxidation, haze, defects and swirls, and bring the paint to a high polish shine (jeweling). This should be performed by an experienced technician who knows the right products and steps.
Can you get rid of a smell in my car? Most odors can be eliminated or dramatically reduced with an interior detail followed by leaving an odor eliminating product in the car overnight.
